When trying to get some documentation on the terrible history of America's Democrat, left-wing, liberal, progressive movement, I stumbled upon the Mark Humphrys web page. (I use a definite article to avoid the controversy of whether it should be "Humphrys'" or "Humphrys's" with the extra "s" after the apostrophe.)

     This is a fantastic summary of many of our political issues.

     I'll point out he uses "liberal" as we use "libertarian" and he uses "democracy" as an antonym for tyranny, not as an antonym for a republic with rule of law as American liberals do. Mark Humphrys is Irish, not American. Where my web page is topical (I think of the Capitol Steps), Mark's web page is broad and timeless (I think of Tom Lehrer).
